Dr. Spunde has been excellent, as shown by her getting my teeth and smile into the best condition of my life. On my most recent visit Dr. Spunde was able to identify areas that needed extra care and she explained how I can modify my brushing technique to reduce tartar buildup.
I really liked this dental clinic. A very professional Russian-speaking doctor, my child calmly sat through the entire examination.

My first visit at Alta Vista Dental was to examine the overall health of my teeth. With the help of a comprehensive X-ray and thorough inspection of each tooth by Dr. Spunde she determined and explained the extent of work that needs to be done. She was very thorough and professional coming up with a game plan to restore my teeth. Last week Dr. Spunde installed a crown for my implant that went really well. After a some adjustment, it fits very well and finally I can chew on my right side. Thank you!

It’s been years since I had a dentist I felt great about. Doc Spunde is that dentist. She’s makes you feel like you’re the only patient in the office and takes plenty of time to explain what she does. She has a great sense of humor and you walk out of there feeling better than when you walked in. I wish I had found her years earlier! They always take you right back and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They always make you feel at home. I recommend this office to everyone.
I never thought I'd be posting such a positive review about a dentist... But here I am! Eva has completely restored my trust in dentists. My previous dentist expereinces left me "filling" 5 cavities (I've never had any cavitites in my life) followed by a year of painful tooth sensitivity. I went to Eva through a friend recommendation and I will never go back to another dentist. You can tell Eva loves her job and genuinely wants to teach you about her specialty and your unique nose/ mouth and how to care for it (without making you feel guilty about not flossing enough..). Overall, I highly recommend visiting Eva if you are in need of a new dentist/ restored faith!

Dr. Spunde is a wonderful doctor. We needed to quickly get an appointment with a dentist, I wrote to several places and only from this clinic I received an answer. Perhaps someone moved their appointment and we were invited to come. My children (5 and 8 years old) came to the dentist for the first time and all the clinic staff were very friendly and found the right approach for each child, so they had the best impressions.
I, like many, don’t particularly care for trips to the dentist, with Alta Vista Dental that all changed. Having had many dentist in my life, I can honestly say, No other dentist has ever cared more about my dental health, taking the time to explain and consult, than Dr. Ivleta Spunde DDS. I have only had one cleaning there, and it was one of the best dental experiences in my life. Dr. Spunde is very attentive and comprehensive in her approach, including some great tech like mouth scanners that I had heard about but not utilized. While I only expected to need a routine cleaning, she highlighted adjacent areas influencing my mouth that another specialist might take a look at. Additionally, I had a nagging but not urgent symptom for over a decade which other doctors had addressed with temporary solutions. I'm optimistic she solved it permanently in 45 mins, simply by paying attention and asking questions. I wish every doctor's experience was like visiting her office.

I don't remember if I had ever been to a dentist before when I went to see Dr Spunde. Luckily my teeth weren't that damaged - a deep clean and just a few fillings (all done in a couple of visits). I asked Dr Spunde if there was something that she could do about my crooked teeth. Although I thought my teeth were beyond fixing and at 30+ age it was hopeless to do anything about it. She agreed to do my orthodontics - although we are not done yet but I can already see the results. It is unbelievable. I can't thank her enough. Very professional and knowledgeable at the same time caring. The cost is very reasonable for the amount of service and care I got. I also liked the fact that she knows her limits and knows when to stop. Her staff is equally friendly and professional. They gave me ride to a garage when my car broke down.

Dr. Spunde is the best! She has single-handedly improved my dental health in the past six years. I continue to come to her office year after year, even after moving to a different city. She is very knowledgeable and skilled and honestly, I have a hard time trusting anyone else to do a nerve block on me. I recently did Invisalign with her and couldn’t be happier with how thorough and diligent she is. She is also very nice and personable. Great find, worth the drive to Livermore!

I am seriously petrified of the dentist, any dentist. But Dr. Spunde at Alta Vista Dental is wonderful! She is patient and kind and does fabulous work. I recommend her highly. I haven't been able to go to any dentist in the last 45 years due to bad experiences, but she has made me overcome my fears and I am no longer afraid. I actually look forward to my visits!
I don't remember if I had ever been to a dentist before when I went to see Dr Spunde. Luckily my teeth weren't that damaged - a deep clean and just a few fillings (all done in a couple of visits). I asked Dr Spunde if there was something that she could do about my crooked teeth. Although I thought my teeth were beyond fixing and at 30+ age it was hopeless to do anything about it. She agreed to do my orthodontics - although we are not done yet but I can already see the results. It is unbelievable. I can't thank her enough. Very professional and knowledgeable at the same time caring. The cost is very reasonable for the amount of service and care I got. I also liked the fact that she knows her limits and knows when to stop. Her staff is equally friendly and professional. They gave me ride to a garage when my car broke down.
